- Complete Individual, Corporate, and Trust Income Tax Returns.
- File Provisional Income Tax Returns biannually within the stipulated deadlines.
- Ensure all clients adhere to Tax Compliance
- Handle reconciliations and additional returns/queries such as Income Tax Audits, Dividend Withholding Tax (DWT) returns, and Donations Tax returns.
- Compile Notices of Objection (NOO) and Notice of Appeal (NOA).
- Prepare responses for Tax Audits on behalf of clients as required.
- Secure Tax Compliance to obtain Tax Clearance Certificates, including certificates for foreign investments.
- Offer expert tax advice to clients.
- Process applications for Waiver of Interest and Penalties.
- Assist with Tax Compromises and Deferments in collaboration with External Associates.
- Negotiate and arrange repayment plans with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) for clients.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure timely invoicing of all tax-related work as per company policy.
- Provide tax insights for the Annual Financial Statements prepared by the internal team.
- Participate in at least 20 hours per annum of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training in tax and related fields.
- Optionally, present tax training sessions to clients on behalf of our associated training company.
- A competitive salary range of R23,000 - R26,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
