- Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
- Create schematic diagrams and component libraries using EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar software.
- Perform signal integrity analysis, power distribution network (PDN) analysis, and thermal analysis to optimize PCB performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs into overall system architecture.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
- Generate and maintain documentation including PCB assembly drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and design specifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques, high-speed digital design principles, and signal integrity concepts.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing of mixed-signal circuits.
- Familiarity with industry standards and manufacturing processes related to PCB design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience in the electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor industries preferred.
