Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources functions, providing strategic directions, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR Policies and programs to support the organization's objectives.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify HR priorities and initiatives that drive organizational success
- Talent Acquisition and Management
- Lead the recruitment process for key positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to facilitate the integration of new employees into the organization
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and career development planning
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a trusted adviser to management and employees on HR-related issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment
- Develop and implement Employee engagement initiatives, programs, and events to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and employee satisfaction
- HR compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with all applicable labour Laws, regulations, and company policies, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence
- Identify and mitigate HR-related risks and liabilities, conducting investigations and Implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design of compensation and benefits Programs, ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with organizational objectives
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation and benefits offering
- HR operations and systems: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Utilize HRIS and other technology platforms to automate HR processes and maintain accurate employee records
- Track and manage business visa applications and renewals for employees or business visitors and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field: Master's degree (added advantage)
- Years of progressive HR experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving results and delivering impactful HR initiatives
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands
- While performing the duties, may be required to regularly stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds).
- Personal protective equipment may be required when performing work in an outdoor or plant environment, including a hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other protective equipment as required.
- The company promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random drug testing.
- This is a one (1) year contract position, Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
