Junior Cloud Engineer/Developer

• Work with existing firmware and hardware design engineers on an IoT telematics system which gathers and displays data from various products sold by the company.
• Providing support to technicians and the companies’ agents relating to hardware and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting
• Configuration of dashboards and reports per customer’s requests
• System commissioning and maintenance under guidance of senior engineer.
• Documenting software/electrical/electronic systems
• Assist in testing and documenting the products and components as they evolve.
• Support and enable certification procedures where required.
• Involvement in the innovation, design and development of new models.
• Assist with interfacing with hardware production and provisioning.
• Drive telematic project deliveries including managing suppliers.
• Assist in project planning and writing progress reports.
• Monitoring product data, assessing and reporting on trends.

• BSc / BTech (Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electronic Engineering) with 2+ years work experience.
• Experience in cloud platforms e.g. AWS/Azure, preferably in the IoT segment.
• Java / C# programming knowledge and experience.
• Interest in telematics, data gathering and analysis.
• Aptitude for clear technical writing and communication.
• Motivated, with proficiency in testing and reporting in electronic related matters.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel intermittently.
• Ability to work well in a team, but also independently.

• Data analyses qualifications / courses
• Experience with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, GPS and Cellular IOT systems
• Knowledge of developing firmware for a range of microcontrollers
• Experience with CAN (Controller Area Network)
• Further qualifications in/outside the field of electronic engineering

• Market related renumeration, negotiable according to experience, skills and qualifications
