We have exciting opportunities for Site Engineers to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering excellence in civil engineering projects.Requirements and ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil EngineeringRegistration with SACPCM or ECSAProven experience in bulk earthworks, mining projects, stormwater and pipe layingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAs the earthwork’s foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various civil engineering tasks to ensure the successful execution of projects. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to1. Bulk Earthworks: Overseeing and managing bulk earthwork operations, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with project specifications2. Mining Environment: Applying your expertise to civil engineering project within the mining sector, considering safety and environmental considerations3. Stormwater Management: Implementing effective stormwater management solutions to meet regulatory requirements and maintain environmental sustainability4. Pipe Laying: Taking charge of pipe laying projects, managing installation and ensuring the integrity of water and sewage systems5. On-site Coordination: Collaborating with he Site Agent and other team members to coordinate construction activities, monitor progress, and address any issues.6. Quality Assurance: Conducting inspections, quality check s, and maintaining detailed records to ensure work meets the highest standards7. Health & Safety: Prioritizing safety on-site, enforcing safety protocols, and promoting a safety-conscious work culture8.
