- Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout and welding specifications
- Measure and cut pipes according to project requirements
- Weld and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques
- Fit and assemble piping systems, ensuring proper alignment and tightness
- Perform inspections to identify defects and ensure welding meets quality standards
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with piping systems as needed
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Stainless steel welding experience is a must (Purge welding / Arc / Mig / Tig).
- Worked in the food & beverage factories and manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work on weekends and after hours if required.
- Driver's licence
- Own Transport
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Follow instructions clearly.
- Good communication skills, English & Afrikaans.
