GLEDHOW SUGAR COMPANY ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER (MM) Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancy in our Process Department at Gledhow Sugar Company (Pty) Ltd. Reporting to the Production Manager, we have an opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic competent individual who display strong leadership abilities and who is able to effectively work in a team environment motivating and leading by example. Routine tasks will include:•Management of the process and operating staff•Lead, motivate and train process staff. *` Management of offcrop work•Budget control Ideal Requirements:•B-Tech/BSc degree in Chemical Engineering or Sugar Technology.•At least 10 years experience in sugar manufacturing (raw and refined) and recoveries optimisation•Good leadership skills and a sound track record•Demonstrate an ability to set and attain high performance standards.•Work effectively as a member of a team.•Sets an example of high moral and ethical values.•Demonstrate the ability for continuous improvement•Dynamic and energetic person to become part of our process team•Good working knowledge of ISO 9001-2008 quality management system and food safety system – ISO 22000 Applications accompanied by a detailed C.V. and proof of qualifications may be forwarded to The Human Resources Department.
