Our client is seeking an experienced Stores Controller to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inbound and outbound goods movement, procurement, and inventory management
- Dealing with issues, stock ageing, critical stock, and slow-moving stock
- Coordinate store activities and delegate to picker/packer
- Design floor layout and outline procedures
- Stock control, receipts, issues transfers and data capture
- Oversee off-site stores
- Forecast demand for all warehouses and process purchase orders
- Ensure that goods are stored safely
- Housekeeping and training of store staff
- Produce inventory reports (issues, purchases, stock on hand, obsolete stock, receipts)
- Procurement of spare and consumables
- Perform periodic stock counts (weekly and annually)
- Update data on BPO
- Respond to customer queries pertaining to stock and deliveries
- Monitor critical stock items and re-order
- Processing of defect reports and liaising with major suppliers
- Organize collection and disposal of used items to the supplier
- Vehicle trip sheet and vehicle inspections
- 2-3 years’ experience in stores and dealing with inventory processes
- Attention to detail
- Experience on MS Excel
- BPO experience advantageous
