Digital Marketing Coordinator - Cape TownFull job descriptionPerformance Brands is looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about all things content and paid media to join the Digital Department at our Head Office in Cape Town.Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, this role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in the B2C and B2B e-commerce environment while working on South Africa’s leading outdoor, active and sports brands.You must have an appetite for staying on top of the latest tech and digital systems trends and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, passion for optimisation and excellent communication skills are a must with the ability to work well under pressure.Job DescriptionAs a person that is well versed in CMS E-Commerce platforms, paid media and SEO, and has a passion for all things digital, you will be responsible for executing the content and SEO/SEM strategy for the various Performance Brands e-commerce stores.Responsibilities· Website content management including website landing page building, content updates and other CMS functions· Management of SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts· Implementation of SEO, PPC strategies according to product, category and campaign objectives· Preparing detailed analytics reports and providing feedback on the success or failures of strategies, and ideas of where to optimise furtherRequirements· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail e-commerce business or digital marketing agency in a Content and SEM role· Relevant academic background in digital marketing and Google certifications, or related programs· Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS coding in terms of landing page creation· Adept at managing multiple brands channels across multiple categories· Skilled in E-Commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce etc· Skilled in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, SEMRush and other SEM tools· Skilled in SEO/SEM research, strategy development and implementation· Excellent reporting, copywriting and communications skills· Detail focused, strong problem-solving, analytical and trouble-shooting skills· Well organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPerformance Brands, a division of the Holdsport Group, is committed to the principles of the Employment Equity Act, and to achieving an equitably representative and diverse workforce.Please apply via the Indeed advert.Closing date for applications: Friday, 26 April 2024.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication Question(s):Do you have certificates in Google Analytics, Ads and other marketing platforms?Experience:coding in HTML and CSS: 1 year (Required)digital marketing: 2 years (Required)CMS Platform: 2 years (Required)Application Deadline: 2024/03/31
