Senior Firmware Engineer

• Designing, testing, and integrating digital and electro-optical electronics for aerospace.
• VHDL firmware module design, implementation, and testing.
• C software module design, implementation, and testing.
• Developing digital and electro-optical systems.
• Supporting product testing campaigns.

• 8+ years' experience in digital electronics, including embedded firmware.
• Proficiency in high-speed FPGA firmware design using VHDL.
• Familiarity with Microsemi FPGAs preferred.
• Strong C coding skills in an embedded environment.
• Python proficiency beneficial.
• Knowledge of multi-layer PCB design advantageous.
• Experience in high-tech, military, or aerospace sectors a plus.
• Understanding of high-speed and high-reliability design practices.
• Experience with environmental and acceptance testing to high-quality standards desirable.
• Familiarity with CCD and CMOS electro-optical design advantageous.
• Understanding of radiation effects on electronics beneficial.
• Familiarity with standard coding compliance and revision control helpful.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office required.
