CORE PURPOSE OF JOBThe purpose of this post is to provide a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused cashier and barista service ensuring accurate account of all stock and transactions within a catering retail environmentKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Customer management
Cash Management.
Administrative duties e.g. any task related to operations within Catering service.
Compliance to food safety and health and safety requirements.
Provide professional customer experience.
Stock merchandizing and stock administration
Ad hoc duties e.g. Beverage production

CORE COMPETENCIES

Basic computer skills
Knowledge and understanding of POS system
Literacy skills
Knowledge and understanding of menu, prices and specials
Knowledge and understanding of food, health and safety require Quality and tasteful beverages
Increased customer base
Ability to handle food and hot beverages
Organised and detail oriented

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS¨ Matric/Grade 12.¨ Cash Management Certificate¨ Valid drivers licence¨ 1 3 years cashier experience¨ 1-year Barista experience advantageous¨ 2 years experience in a customer services environment.Nelson Mandela University reserves the right not to make an appointment.
