- BSc in Chemistry or equivalent
- 3-5 years of managerial experience in a laboratory environment.
- Previous experience in chemical production industry.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 quality system and ISO 14001 environmental management system.
- Monitor and supervise process activities, including the tracking of mixing data and conducting product testing.
- Perform data analysis using the LIMS system and prepare comprehensive test reports.
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders regarding product testing procedures and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to relevant specifications and standards for the release of products.
- Offer technical assistance to production and R&D teams, addressing issues and implementing necessary corrective measures.
- Uphold laboratory efficiency and staff performance through mentoring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Administer the laboratory information system while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive laboratory data.
- Supervise the performance and calibration of quality control laboratory equipment.
- Guide staff members on testing methodologies, statistical analysis techniques, and maintaining psychological well-being.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, including ISO 14001 standards.
