- 5+ years relevant experience in a Business Analyst role;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, technology, computer science, finance, or information systems
- Knowledge of business process analysis methodology and documentation;
- Experience working on multiple projects
- Experience in the compilation of business requirement specification documents
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organising, and managing resources
- General IT and systems knowledge
- All requirements of the client are documented & analysed
- Document all requirements and business solutions in a manner that stakeholders and team members understand them clearly in order to complete their tasks. These include: Correctly identifying the key problem areas, recommending appropriate solutions and ensuring that the solution proposed solves the clients’ pain point (e.g. improve business processes / ensure efficiency, assess & document the impact of the solution on various stakeholder
- Successfully acquire client approval of proposed solution
- Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
- Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
- Support the lead consultant with the translation of business requirements into solutions.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
- Assist with project governance-related activities, according to the PPT governance framework
- Work closely with stakeholders to stay aligned with core business requirements and adjust the project approach as needed.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a core resource to support their internal teams.
