- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years experience in cost accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Experience in Manufacturing and importing costings preferable
- Build and improve costing templates documents, and records of the organization.
- Analyze and report on financial performance against budget, highlighting variances and identifying trends.
- Assess actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and report on margins by product and division.
- Assist in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research, and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability.
- Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules, and others.
- Ensure timely submission, accuracy, and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management.
