- Prepare personal development plans in conjunction with Manager and implement in line with business requirements.

- Prospect potential new customers and (or) partners by identify new markets and business opportunities and turn this into increased business in South Africa, Africa, and Europe.
- Develop and deliver formal proposals, presentations, and marketing campaigns in conjunction with the marketing team to grow market share.
- Review and act on possible tender / RFI opportunities taking full responsibility for all documentation.
- Gathering and management of information on customers and competitors in South Africa, Africa,and Europe to identify opportunities for expanding services and products to new markets and existing / new customers.
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
- Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
- Compile accurate and thorough Project Handover Document on a per project basis to ensure
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
- Gather and disseminate information on competitors with regards to new and existing products to identify opportunities for expanding services and/or products to new markets and existing / new customers
- Ensure that data is accurately entered into CRM or other sales management system and that such data is effectively used in generating new business.
- Adhere to sales policies and procedures.
- Submit accurate weekly progress reports on new leads, lead conversions in progress and sales closed to track progress.
