IntroductionOur client, specializing in revolutionizing the design and production of cutting-edge testing solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager to join there team. As experts in the field, they tackle a diverse array of physical properties, from assessing tensile and compressive strength to intricate torque testing, textiles analysis, and real-world dynamics simulations. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through the development and execution of robust sales strategies. You will lead our efforts in managing the sales pipeline, engaging with potential and existing customers, and ensuring the successful closure of sales opportunities. Your expertise in AI technologies and packaged AI consulting services will be instrumental in understanding client needs and effectively positioning our offerings to drive innovation.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's growth targets and technology consulting strategy.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Nurture potential leads and maintain a steady flow of prospects across various stages of the sales process.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers throughout the sales journey. Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, understand their needs and challenges, and position the company's consulting services effectively to address them.
  • Budget and Resources Management: Effectively manage the sales budget and allocate resources within the team to support the strategy for success.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities and outcomes, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Utilize appropriate tools to track performance and analyze customer interactions to facilitate proactive decision-making.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies. Adapt and enhance sales tactics, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with consulting leads to ensure a cohesive approach to client management and stay informed about the services offered by the team.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Minimum Matric/N3 is required.
  • Tertiary education in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years' experience in driving growth within a B2B business and experience in this type of role.
