- Vineyard management experience is a must.
- Code 10 or code 14 drivers licence essential
- Some experience with animal husbandry, particularly sheep and cattle would be a plus.
- Responsibilities include working closely with the labour team (external).
- Ensuring all vineyard practices are undertaken timeously with a high degree of accuracy.
- Working closely with our grower vineyards to make sure that essential vineyard practices are being executed properly and in good time (approx 300km range).
- Vineyard health monitoring across all vineyards.
- Working with our viticulturist to develop spray programs and manage execution of programs.
- Ensuring maintenance of farming infrastructure and equipment, including tractors, implements, water infrastructure, buildings etc.
- Helping to truck grapes from various vineyards to Hermanus in harvest time.
