Assembly Technician

- Be responsible for wheel assembly and quality inspection – follow detailed drawings and written instructions on attaching machined metal parts to the carbon part.
- Responsible for implementing quality standards and day-to-day quality control systems.
- Meet all production and quality targets – the company depends on reliable production.
- Communicate with Engineering and Production teams by providing input relating to your experience and requirements.
- Contribute to finding the best solutions for problems relating to assembly and quality control processes. This requires accurate communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- General administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time.
- Technical background degree/diploma, minimum being N4 or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in an assembly production environment, and/or hands on experience in mechanical workshop environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- A practical, action-oriented self-starter that can follow directions and work without constant supervision, someone who works well independently and can be part of a team.
- Meticulous and accurate with a demonstrable work ethic. Strong sense of accountability and a true ownership mentality.
- A love of motorsport, racing, motorcycles and vehicle maintenance will help a lot!
