Hydraulic Engineer - Cape TownFull job descriptionJob requirements:Min 10 years’ experience in Hydraulics, and Mechanics – Marine/Mining Industry experienceMin Ndip Mechanical Engineering – Ideally BEng, BTech or BSc in Mechanical Engineering.Hydraulics Certificate – Possess a certificate or qualification related to hydraulics to demonstrate expertise in hydraulic systems.Trade Theory – Strong understanding of trade theory relevant to hydraulic equipment and machinery.Job responsibilities:Design of hydraulic systems using industry standard componentsMaintenance to hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors cranes and power packs.Experience in marine and mining sectors is preferable.Computer literacy with experience in creating reports.The candidate should be able to read and create hydraulic schematics.Specific Requirements/Additional informationAll Candidates are subject to passing a polygraph test
