- Draft and prepare pleading, motions and other related litigation documents.
- Conduct research and collect evidence appropriate to litigation cases.
- Manage discoveries in litigation settings.
- Argue motions independently.
- Conduct interviews and gather material useful for litigation cases.
- Coordinate, collaborate and support other litigation attorneys, candidate attorneys and paralegals.
- Manage client databases and update.
- Manage correspondent attorney relationships.
- Organize filing of litigation documents and processes. Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.
- Ensure compliance of all laws relating to litigation matters.
- Manage client billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, as well as resolving billing issues in cooperation with the finance office.
- Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the calendar.
- Keep files organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with manager.
- Drafting case progress (reports).
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
