Assistant Manager (Infrastructure & Trade)

• A National Senior Certificate or higher.
• A formal relevant qualification or sufficient employment experience in any or some of the following fields will be an advantage. Law, engineering, project management, agriculture and/or the commercial aspects, relevant to small, medium and large-scale commercial farming enterprises
• Computer literacy with excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills will be a pre-requisite
• A good working knowledge of social media platforms as well as the creating and uploading of content
• Must have problem solving and analytical skills.
• An appropriate degree or diploma or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial position is required
• A code B drivers’ licence & own vehicle, which they are prepared to use for official duties, such use to be re-imbursed at an agreed rate.

• Research and development of operational plans to address the numerous infrastructural and economic issues faced by commercial farmers
• Lead and motivate support staff to develop a high-performance culture
• Oversee activities relating to the operations of the Infrastructure and Trade Committee of the organisation to ensure desired results consistent with the overall strategy of the organisation.
• Manage engagements and communication between our affiliated members and the activities of this functional committee to ensure adequate support to these members.
• Engage and build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders
