MECHANICAL ENGINEER / LOSS ADJUSTER – DURBANOur client is a leading provider of technology enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, and taking care of people is at the heart of everything they do.About the Role:They are seeking to employ a suitably motivated, qualified and degreed Mechanical Engineer as a Loss Adjuster, within their Durban team.Key Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional levels of service to our clients and their customers
Proactively manage a file load, meet individual performance targets and deliver a high standard of work
Investigate and report on the facts of incidents giving rise to insurance claims.
Gathering and preserving evidence
Establish the cause of loss
Quantifying the nature and extent of damage
Determining policy liability and providing recommendations to clients
Contributing to the further growth and success of the branch

Skills and Experience:Excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsAnalytical skillsGood negotiation skillsA recognised engineering qualificationMinimum 3 years' work experience in the engineering fieldAn inquisitive mind with a problem-solving mentality and eye for detail.A team orientated approach and aptitude to coach and mentorThe ability to understand complex circumstances and then be able to report them in a clear and concise waySound computer, written and numerical skillsInsurance loss adjusting experience will be advantageous, but is not mandatoryWhat they offer:
