The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of matching shippers with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Source and qualify carriers to build a network of reliable transportation partners.Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to ensure cost-effective solutions for shippers.Coordinate shipments and track the movement of goods to ensure on-time delivery.Manage relationships with shippers and carriers to provide exceptional customer service.Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the transportation process.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually optimize operations.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Transport Broker or similar role in the logistics industry.Strong understanding of transportation regulations, pricing structures, and market trends.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in using transportation management software and other relevant tools.Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).How to Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your qualifications and experience for this position.
