Job SummaryHire Resolve's client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Resident Engineer / Planning Engineer, to be involved in a sought-after project in ZambiaKey Requirements:

+20 years' experience with vast experience in hydropower and dam projects
BSc. / B.Eng. in Civil Engineering or higher
Prior experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa

Duties include:

Liaise with Chief RE
Instruct the contractor about planning aspects of the work on site
Assist with verifying the inclusion of all dam safety monitoring aspects in the planning process
Revise of the contractors planning and preparation of schedules for control of the site activities
Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans
Responsible to evaluate compliance with the work program on site
Carry out and make weekly update of the holistic work program of the project
Report to the Project Service Manager
Collect weekly schedule reports
Prepare monthly summary
Preparation of payment certificates and liaise with Resident QS
