- Perform routine and emergency maintenance of mining equipment and machinery.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering and metallurgy principles to solve operational issues.
- Conduct equipment inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.
- Develop and implement service protocols and guidelines for equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and metallurgical processes as they relate to mining operations.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in challenging and varied environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
