SALARY: MARKET RELATED"TRS is looking for a Vessel HVAC Technician to perform repairs and installation / replacement works on the Vessel HVAC systems within the Oil & Gas Industry to join our Client's JSD 6000 project team based WORLDWIDE.”JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs repairs and installation/replacement works on the vessel HVAC systems safely and efficiently.
- Install, remove and replace the elements of the vessel HVAC systems, using hand and power tools and the appropriate fittings.
- Perform troubleshooting on the vessel HVAC systems.
- Be able to read HVAC layout drawings.
- Provide support to the engine room department when required to do so.
- Be responsible for good housekeeping on the work site.
- Wear the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), wherever required.
- Participate to the Toolbox talks meeting and JSA (Job Safety Analysis), wherever required.
- Report to the 2nd Engineer.
- Accredited bachelor's degree / equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Vessel HVAC Technician.
- Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET.
- Mandatory requirement STCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement
- MOU stability course (where applicable).
- Mandatory requirement completion of all training and certifications as described in Training Matrix.
- Have experience as a Seaman and knowledge of Maritime rules and regulations.
- Good spoken and written English.B1
