Job Summary We are an award winning production agency and shop-fitting company, with full in-house production, and we have an exciting position for you! As a Large Format Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining large format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for various purposes. You will work closely with designers to ensure that print jobs meet quality standards and deadlines. Responsibilities: Operate large format printing equipment, such as digital printers and plotters, according to job specifications. Prepare and set up printing jobs, including loading media, adjusting settings, and performing test prints. Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as needed to ensure accurate colours, sharpness, and alignment. Maintain and calibrate printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment. Handle and maintain an inventory of printing supplies, including ink, media rolls, and cleaning materials. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Collaborate with designers, and colleagues to review print specifications, discuss project requirements, and provide technical expertise. Keep detailed records of print jobs, including job specifications, materials used, and production time, for reporting and billing purposes. Proven experience required
