Fleet Manager - LimpopoFull job descriptionJOB ADVERTRECRUITER: BATELINE INVESTMENTSVACANCY: FLEET MANAGERDEPARTMENT: FLEET DEPARTMENTLOCATION: POLOKWANESALARY: NEGOTIABLEDATE ADVERTISED: 13 FEBRURY 2024SUMMARY:We are looking for an experienced professional who will be responsible for the company group of vehicles and drivers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ø Assign vehicles to the drivers.Ø Manage accidents report.Ø Comply with local laws and regulations.Ø Identify ways to improve fuel efficiency.Ø Create and manage the fleet policies.Ø Establish standard procedures for potential scenarios or problemsØ Deal with urgent and emergency repairs as required.Ø Setup efficient transport schedule and route.Ø Report to management about fleet budget , schedule , maintenance and general progressØ Monitor drivers to ensure they’re following best driving practice.Ø Respond to complaints from the public about drivers.Ø Negotiate with the supplier for vehicle and parts.Ø Ensure regular inspection of vehicles.REQUIREMENTS:Ø Proven experience in Fleet Management , with strong understanding of Fleet Operations, Maintenance , and regulatory compliance.Ø Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate the team.Ø Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with the capacity to make data driven decisions.Ø Knowledge of relevant software and tools for Fleet management and data analysis.Ø Understanding of safety, environmental and transportation regulations.Ø Diploma or Certificate in Business , Logistics , Supply Chain management or related field ( preferred ).Interested applicants are invited to submit their CV’s by no later than 26 February 2024Email to: Cvs@bateline.co.za with subject title Fleet Manager as reference, only successful candidate will be communicated within 2 weeks of the closing date.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to Commute:Bendor, Limpopo (Required)Ability to Relocate:Bendor, Limpopo: Relocate before starting work (Required) Report jobRetur
