This role involves hands-on experience in the field, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with farmers to implement best practices.Key Responsibilities:Field Assistance:Work alongside senior agronomists to provide on-site support to farmers in areas such as planting, irrigation, and pest management.Assist in conducting field trials and experiments to test new agronomic practices.Data Collection:Collect and record data related to crop performance, soil conditions, and environmental factors.Utilize data collection tools and technologies to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.Training and Education:Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for farmers, focusing on best agronomic practices and safety measures.Support educational initiatives to enhance farmers' understanding of sustainable agriculture.Research Support:Assist in literature reviews and research activities related to crop management and agronomic innovations.Collaborate with senior agronomists in implementing research findings into practical farming strategies.Farm Visits:Conduct regular farm visits to assess crop conditions, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.Build positive relationships with farmers to enhance communication and cooperation.Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to ensure seamless communication and coordination.Engage with farmers to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.Passion for sustainable agriculture and a strong interest in agronomy.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Basic knowledge of crop management practices and agricultural technologies.Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the field.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
