About the job Senior DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in APIs, Google Cloud Platform, and possess proficiency in English with knowledge of Afrikaans.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
Build and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless communication between various systems.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, PHP, Java.
Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful architecture.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English and Afrikaans.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
