Brand Home Manager - Stilbaai, WCFull job descriptionBRAND HOME MANAGERWe are seeking a passionate & experienced Brand Home Manager to lead and execute our Inverroche Brand Home Vision. In this role you will be required to deliver a best-in-class Visitors centre that puts our customers and consumers at the heart of the business.The brand home is an extremely important asset within the organisation, and it is here that we lead, engage, mentor, and recruit our consumers into loyal advocates of the brand. It is critical that the Brand home manager drives this ambition and delivers our reputation to the highest possible standard.Front Of House ManagementManage, Coach, develop and inspire the brand home front of house team for best-in-class execution and consumer experiences with clear guidelines and deliverablesManage the day to day running and operational protocols of the Inverroche brand homeImplement the Brand Guidelines in all guests facing locations within the brand homeDevelop and execute efficient ways of working to deliver industry leading service levels and execution standardsImplement a professional working schedule for the staff, with clear and efficient procedures for better ways of workingDrive internal culture to build excitement and look for ways to celebrate successes and company milestonesEnsure consistency between the Brand Home site and the brands image and positioning in the marketBenchmark against competitors, luxury environments and other hospitality/tourism innovationsMust have the Ability to personally present and coach on all the Inverroche Experiences at the Brand Home (Tastings, Gin Academy, Etc.)Hospitality ManagementAim to Ensure that every single guest that leaves the brand home is a new advocate of Inverroche!Create and execute bespoke events for key periods and occasions – with a strong focus on seasonal periodsWork with Pernod Ricard teams to host key customers and VIPs at the brand homeManage and execute our bespoke Gin Academy in line with guidance from the marketing teamExecute a “conscious luxury” food & beverage program that incentivizes our guests to spend more time and money at the brand homeRe-define and maintain the standards of our brand home experiences (Tours, tastings, programs, retreats, packages, etc.)Evolve the distillery into a “Fine Dining” Restaurant mind-setBrand HomeImplement an efficient and calculated consumer journey blueprint, highlighting all the key touchpoints and objectivesPreserve, strengthen and highlight the heritage of Inverroche within the brand homeDigitalize the archives and highlight the brand storiesDelivery Luxury merchandising standards in all areas of the brand homeWork closely with the Inverroche brand marketing team to ensure that the Brand Home is fully on brand, supporting new brand initiatives and product launches, with innovation and digital at the heart, while suggesting new opportunities and activities to drive incremental business revenue and build brand equityManage the Brand Home shop and retails standardsImplement a personalization & customization program for the Inverroche Brand Home ShopManagement of all the brand home Point of sale and apply inventory controlsAdapt consumer experiences to be in line with the Inverroche Brand HeartWork closely with the Global Brand Homes Team to ensure alignment with the Group VisionCommunity Leadership and Sustainability & ResponsibilityWork with our Sales & Distribution partners to identify and support key On-trade venues within the Stilbaai area to activate Inverroche. Inverroche to be the most visible brand in the Stilbaai areaWork with the local community to ensure Inverroche participates in Strategic events and occasionsIdentify Opportunities for Inverroche to increase awareness and build relationshipsDrive the Sustainability & Responsibility principals at every touch point within the businessEnsure Pernod Ricard’s Responsible Hosting guidelines are implemented and adhered to. Responsible Hosting Accreditation to be maintainedEMPLOYEE MANAGEMENTRecruit and manage Talented EmployeesStructure and resourcing levels consistently evaluated.Job descriptions are relevant and up to dateVacancies filled in line with policies, equity targets, headcount, and budgetManage and execute Succession plansGuarantee a high level of engagement, motivation, and consumer centricityDetermine appropriate levels of temporary staff required for seasonal periodsDevelop EmployeesImplement suitable development opportunities and trainingIndividual Development plans for all staff to maximise growth potentialTraining consistently appliedEmployee Promotions recommended where appropriateFINANCE / BUDGETFinance ManagementAccurate Food and Beverage Costing (GP Management)Forecast annual Brand Home marketing budget and operational expenses (forecasts done on a quarterly basis)Forecast Annual Sales numbers (on a quarterly basis)Budget compiled and approved in line with organisational growth ambitions, and according to internal and group reporting timelinesManage costs against approved budget within marketing arenaPotential areas of saving and optimisation highlightedExpenditure aligns with budgetRecording stock procurement and transfers on the ERP systemMeaningful variance analysis reports provided and variances investigated with mitigation plans proposed and put in placeSet and drive revenue targets for the brand home – Ensuring a profitable P&LManage Inventory and stock levels for all consumablesMaintain the CRM programme to ensure data capture, visitor tracking and consumer engagementMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric Certificate Hospitality Management Certification / Diploma / DegreeHave a valid driver’s license and own transportKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE5-10 years’ experience in hospitality management, with a strong understand of running High end Restaurants and BarsExperience in the Alcohol industry is advantageousStrong understanding and experience in Luxury BrandsStrong people management experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Power Point and WordPractical Experience in brand-building projects is essentialSKILLS & ABILITIESProven experience as a restaurant and/or bar managerCross-functional project leadership and organizing skillsStakeholder Management SkillsGood with Managing and inspiring PeopleStrong Admin capabilitiesAnalytical and creative thinkingA good understanding of retail and pricingLeadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goalsHospitality ExperienceCultural leader with ability to grow and excite teamsAbility to work within inconsistent and additional hoursOutstanding organisational and planning abilitiesMethodical and rigorous, with a sensibility for luxury environmentsWORKING CONDITIONSWORK ENVIRONMENTWorking full time at the Brand home in Stilbaai with inconsistent industry hours.Seasonal periods will require extra time and additional support.HOURS / SHIFTSOut of Season: Tuesday to Saturday 08:00-17:00.Season (Dec/Jan and Easter) will be Monday to Sunday 09:00 – 18:00, with occasional overtime.
