Records Custodian - Cape TownFull job descriptionPurpose of the JobTo store and maintain all records (paper and electronic) according to storage standards and legal requirements and present them to authorised users, within agreed timeframes including protecting all physical records against unauthorised access, removal, destruction and environmental damage to enable the business to meet it's targets in a cost effective and sustainable mannerWhat you'll be doing Proactively performing a records custodian role.Building effective records access control systems.Administering the contract management system.Maintaining a disposal program and ensuring adherence.Managing query resolution effectively and timeously.Exciting Challenges Drive the maintenance of a records classification system for good governance and quality management.Create value through cross functional interaction with stakeholders.Operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.What you've done beforeBaseline:NQF Level 4 (National/Higher Certificate)At least 2 years’ experience in Administration or Document ManagementDiploma or Advance CertificateAdvantageous:Exceptional records management system skills and archive administration.Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.Ability to work cross functionally.
