- Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers and design teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and design critiques to foster innovation and creativity.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and agencies as needed.
- Design Strategy:
- Develop design strategies that align with the company''s brand identity and business goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify design trends, user preferences, and industry best practices.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into compelling design solutions.
- Visual Design:
- Create high-quality visual designs for various digital and print mediums, including websites, mobile apps, marketing collateral, and branding materials.
- Ensure consistency in design elements, typography, and color schemes across all platforms.
- Use industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to execute design projects.
- User Experience (UX) Design:
- Develop user-centric design solutions that enhance the usability and accessibility of digital products and services.
- Conduct user research, user testing, and usability evaluations to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, product managers, and developers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate design concepts, ideas, and rationale effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to integrate design solutions into product development processes.
- Present design proposals, prototypes, and deliverables to clients, executives, and project stakeholders.
- Bachelor''s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Master''s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Experience with user-cantered design methodologies and UX/UI best practices.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development technologies is a plus.
- Experience working in agile or iterative development environments is desirable.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and interactive design is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of design projects from start to finish.
