Job Summary Hire Resolve's client is a leading beverage manufacturing company with multiple production facilities. They are known for their high-quality products and commitment to sustainability. As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics Team Leader to join their team in Gauteng.Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of logistics coordinators.
Set clear performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Process Optimization:

Analyze current internal logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the flow of materials and products.
Continuously monitor and evaluate operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Inventory Management:

Oversee the inventory control processes, including stock accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliations.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory management.
Supply Chain Coordination:

Collaborate with production, planning, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth material flow and on-time deliveries.
Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Coordinate with external logistics providers to optimize transportation and distribution processes.
Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified issues promptly.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure proper training of the team.

Requirements:

Must be available to start immediately
Willing to work on a Temporary basis
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience, including managing a team of logistics coordinators.
Strong knowledge of internal logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable.
Proactive and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
