- Source new business and build portfolio for the Department:
- Prospecting and Cold calling
- Maintain existing client database
- Handle day to day requests and queries
- Handle customer complaints efficiently
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Minimise cancelation of service requests
- Work closely with transport control room and accounts department
- Sales administrative duties
- Compiling and sending quotations
- Follow up on quotations
- Submit weekly sales report
- Creating and forwarding pro-forma invoices
- Populate and ensure Service Level Agreements for customers are being maintained
- A tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing
- A minimum of between 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing position
- Computer literate - full Microsoft suite
- Valid Code 08 license and own reliable vehicle
- Good problem solving skills
- Must be able to work in a pressurized and demanding environment
- Enthusiastic, vibrant personality focusing on achieving deliverables
- Understanding and managing hazardous waste will be an advantage
- Understanding and managing recycling waste will be an advantage
- Must be a team player
- Fully bilingual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Well groomed, confident and a self-starter
