- Assisting and building relationships with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries and following up on queries where applicable
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
- Assisting clients with processing of forms, applications and requests
- Record details of enquiries, comments and complaints
- Maintain customer databases
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Assist in improving the environment with projects, process reviews and other enhancements
- A relevant tertiary education is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services client servicing
- English and Afrikaans proficiency
- A good overall understanding of the investment industry, with a particular focus on unit trusts
- High level of computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills with clients, internal business units and service providers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Takes ownership and accountability
