- Implement and track the training pathways for team members and Restaurant Managers, until certification.
- Ensures the integrity of all record keeping is accurate, current, uploaded and accessible.
- Track and ensures certification is achieved within the timelines as per the training pathways.
- Conducts on the job training with restaurant teams and Restaurant Managers. Maintains brand standards via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Restaurant training Interventions are communicated and aligned with Operational teams
- Analyze the training status dashboard and work with the restaurant teams to improve the training status.
- Support group training initiatives to enhance Restaurant Managers skills set within the network. Ensures managers are trained and equipped to deliver on the brand standard.
- Support and train all team members in restaurants on brand recipes and SOPs. Ensure competencies on quality and speed are met.
- Takes ownership of training team members and Restaurant Managers of a new restaurant. Feedback reports available and sufficient detail documented on progress of learners.
- Executes and monitors prescribed training support for COH and Revamped stores, with continuous communication with Operations teams.
- Successfully launch and train on new menus with Restaurant teams.
- Conduct In-restaurant practical assessments and coaching
- Actively sharing information with colleagues in weekly TEAMs meetings - best practice and knowledge. Reads Brand newsletters and shares information on such.
- Company assets maintained as per company policy and in good condition.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills (Calendar/Journey plan completed a month ahead with one visit to each restaurant every 6 weeks).
- Completed Matric / Grade 12.
- Certificate / Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification.
- Formal Training qualification (Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator) would be an advantage.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a Trainer or similar capacity.
- Previous training experience at in-store level within a leading service-based (food service or franchising) organisation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing and/or able to travel extensively.
- Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends based on operational requirements.
- Experience in food preparation and presentation
- Good knowledge of operational process and food handling/safety aspects
- Computer literacy
- Subject matter expert with brand SOP's
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of various training methodologies and ability to apply in the workplace
- Ability to pay attention to detail with good recordkeeping and organizational skills
- Ability to engage, motivate and coach learners
- Displays impeccable time keeping.
- Displays excellent personal appearance and upholds brand ethos.
- Demonstrates high levels of agility and innovation to adopt new learning and teaching concepts.
