- Develop, monitor, and advise financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives
- Provide strategic financial insights, support and recommendations support and guide decision-making and drive profitability and growth
- Facilitate the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Building out controls and processes to help facilitate better reporting and internal controls as the business grows
- Optimise financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape financial functionality around business processes
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement across the organisation
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Build and coach a high-performing team that provides the right skills at the right time and place
- Bachelor's degree in Financial or Management Accounting
- CA(SA), ACMA, CGMA, or similar qualification advantageous
- 7- 10 years' finance experience, with proven track record of success in a leadership role
- Proven track record of making impact in scalable business environments experiencing rapid growth
- Experience in the travel, hospitality industries (desirable)
- Strong understanding of financial systems, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, leadership and team management capabilities
