Commis/CDP Chef

• Must have Grade 12 and a culinary qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Chef De Partie position (Safari Camp/5* Lodge/Reserve experience (essential)
• Must have a passion for the pastry department and experience in pastry
• Excellent culinary catering talent is a necessity (present preparation techniques)
• Must have a clear understanding of dietaries and nutrition
• Must have in-depth knowledge of hygiene practices and new products
• Must reference well and have an excellent food portfolio
• Highly organized and with great attention to detail
• Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Must have a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a team and collaborate
• Excellent time management skills and great work ethic
