Risk Manager

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies.
• Evaluate current policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Monitor and report on risk management activities to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in risk management.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in risk management, preferably in a Mining environment or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional certification in risk management is a plus.
