R 850000 - R 1150000 Annually Cost To Company (Normal company benefits included (Medical aid plus pension), Market related)My client is a leading SC/Logistics company and they are looking for a competent Warehouse and Distribution Manager for their operations in Johannesburg. Proven experience is essential particularly in managing a multi-site operation. CIPS and/or CSCP is desirable with a related Diploma/Degree.Qualifications required

Diploma related to Warehousing, Logistics etc
CIPS and/or CSCP would be an added advantage
Proven experience in a similar role
Experience in international or multi-national warehousing environment is beneficial

Key responsibilities will include:

Proficient in WMS and related software
Stock management
Standardization of warehouses and stores
Data analysis
Focus on continuous improvement
Staff management

Strong communication, management and leadership skills will be essential for this role, together with an analytical approach. Key attributes to include ethical and unbiased approach, together with the ability to drive the organisation into a mindset of continuous improvement.This position is open to South African citizens.
