Our client, a reputable Development Finance Institution, is currently seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager for their Eastern Cape division, based in East London.In this pivotal role, you will drive the advancement of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) initiatives, ensuring the efficient screening and processing of enquiries and applications in alignment with the organization's mandate. Your responsibilities will include managing the application pipeline, facilitating effective client communication, and securing approvals for investment applications.Maximizing the empowerment dividend is at the core of this role, with a focus on investing in Black empowered businesses that offer significant employment opportunities. You will play a key role in increasing the participation of Black Women in the economy, ensuring diversity and inclusivity in investment decisions.Additionally, you will optimize non-financial support initiatives, spearheading regional marketing efforts, updating strategies, and fostering a culture aligned with the organization's mission.Financial efficiency and sustainability are paramount, requiring meticulous portfolio monitoring, credit control, and adherence to budgetary constraints. Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational excellence, ensuring adherence to systems and procedures, and providing effective administrative support.To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of SA corporate law, SME funding environments, and BBB-EE financing markets.
