Job Summary Retail Shop and Fuel Manager Duties and Responsibilities • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism • Achieve high levels of sales performance results • Day to day management of employees in execution of daily tasks to maximize sales. • Help solve problems that affect service, productivity and efficiency • Manage visual standards in store and garage, including merchandising, signage, general maintenance and housekeeping. • Monitor business profitability. Qualifications • Matric + Retail/ Administration/ Marketing/Management Diploma with min 5 years management experience in retail Compencies / Skills required • Proactive and sales driven • Energetic and goal driven • Ability to work under pressure • Computerised skills in Word and Excel • Good numerical skills • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to solve problems and be solution orientated • Personnel management and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization • Customer orientated • Experienced in costings and management and monitoring of gross profit and expenses in all shop divisions • HR - Basic knowledge in HR requirements • HSEQ - Basic knowledge in Health and Safety requirements • Experience in OK/Shoprite/Checkers/Caltex/Total will receive preference
