Mansion Baker/ Chef De Partie

• Must have a recognized chef qualification and an excellent food portfolio
• Minimum of three years experience as a chef
• Excellent knowledge of taste and flavor combinations and pastries
• Skilled in visual presentation with an eye for detail
• Must be up to date with global food trends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English both written and spoken
• Must have own transport and live locally
• Must be skilled in mentoring, developing, and managing staff to prepare new, original dishes daily according to the availability of fresh produce from the garden
• Stock management skills, price calculation, and purchasing ability are a must
• Must have excellent computer skills
• Must be able to maintain safety and hygiene standards at all times to the highest level
