Learn more at www.averydennison.com.Job DescriptionABOUT YOUR ROLE:Scope and general purpose of the role:As a Supply chain planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain process. You will work closely with cross functional teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and plan the timely delivery of products. Additionally you will communicate with suppliers and internal customers to ensure service deliveryYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Demand & Supply Planning:Lead sales and operations (S&OP) process to forecast demand and plan supplyManage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintainedDriving down slow moving and obsolete inventory.Coordinating with suppliers and internal customers to ensure on-time delivery of products in terms of business SLAManage vendors i.e. suppliers & freight forwardersAnalyzing key performance indicators to identify areas of improvementPrepare for and lead weekly meetings with cross functional team to provide updates on demand and supply, inventory shortages and due datesMaintenance of master data, supply chain documentation and standard operating proceduresConduct costing analysis of product and freightMaintain quarterly vendor scorecardDeveloping and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost effectivenessEnsure accurate completion and administration of all procurement documentationMaintain B-BBEE Procurement in collaboration with the Human Resource department.Manage the PO running for both Inventory & Non-Inventory items.Ensure adherence to best practice and ELS standardsWHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:Sound knowledge and understanding of supply chain principles, freight and import modelsPrerequisite Experiences:Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience within a Supply Chain environmentCross functional collaboration with all stakeholders (sales, customer service, operations, finance)Creating & managing demand forecasts and supply plansMultinational experience would be an advantageKnowledge and understanding of international and local freightFormal Qualifications:Grade 12Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain/Logistics/Business management qualification essentialPPIM/CPIM is advantageousCompetencies Required:Computer literacy – Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MFG ProExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentDetail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail Please note that if you have not heard from the HR Department within 30 days of this advert closing, your application has unfortunately been unsuccessful.All internal applications should be acknowledged by your manager, accompanied by a copy of your Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of your qualifications must be send to the local HR department.
