Conduct, publish and promote researchCORE COMPETENCIESAbility to facilitate and teach TVET related subjects and general education theory modules.
Facilitation of teaching students the didactics of TVET subjects.
A sound knowledge of assessment strategies in TVET.
Ability to adapt TVET teaching to suit the diversity of students and promote inclusivity.
Ability to develop teaching materials in TVET.
Conducting scholarly work with an increasing focus on Africanization and decolonization in TVET.
Be able to facilitate and engage in curriculum development processes at undergraduate level.REQUIREMENTSRelevant Honours qualification (BEd or other relevant qualification)..
A relevant MEd will be an added advantage.
Possession of academic qualifications in TVET.
A sound disciplinary and content knowledge of TVET subjects
Experience in teaching TVET subjects at university level or the post-schooling sector.
Proficient in online learning.
Experience with Moodle, or similar learning platforms, will be an advantage.Nelson Mandela University reserves the right not to make an appointment.
