Factory Manager - AerotonFull job descriptionJob Vacancy: Factory ManagerLocation: JHB South (Aerotan)Industry: Headwear (Clothing & Apparel)Minimum Requirements:MatricDegree or Diploma in Business Management advantageousMinimum 5 years’ experience in a clothing manufacturing environment with strong skills in meeting Production objectives & Staff Management (+/-80)Valid driver's license and own vehicleJob Description:Daily Management of all factory staff including matters pertaining to time keeping, leave and disciplinary issuesRecruitment and selection of appropriate staffYou will be responsible for assisting the owners in introducing a new dynamic factory environment with consideration forHealth and SafetyRisk ManagementPlant ManagementQuality controlTalent ManagementPlan production (raw material to final product) and communicate any deviations from planning (expected) to the operations directorMust ensure the lines are efficient at all times (Cutting, Embroidery , Blocking , Machining , Cleaning and packaging)Checking production sheets everyday (for production effectiveness) Time studies to be done and held accountableBuild teams within the factory to enhance productivityEnsure the correct systems are implemented and maintainedUnderstand the different products and manufacture these with desired specifications as well as documenting the process.
