Aspen Medical seeks expressions of interest from experienced and qualified midwife nurses to join our team in supporting an oil and gas project in Libya. As a midwife nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services in hospital or clinical settings.Contract Details:Contract duration: 3+ yearsSalary will be automatically paid monthly in USD to personal bank accounts.Paid leave, accommodation, and per diem providedTravel Allowance: $100 USD will be provided for each flightAccommodation: 1 or 2-bedroom good standard apartments/units providedInsurances: ProvidedMonthly Allowance: Libyan Dinar equivalent to $100 USD per month providedWorkplace Conditions: Excellent.   • Assess patients through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of pregnancy.
  • Assess nursing needs, considering their medical, social, cultural, and family circumstances.
  • Communicate appropriately with patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of pregnancy.
  • Detect labor symptoms in women and provide appropriate nursing care.
  • Monitor patients for contractions and fetal well-being.
  • Interpret CTG for contractions and fetal well-being.
  • Assist and support obstetricians and gynecologists in treating patients.
  • Assist and support obstetricians and pediatricians in treating newborns at delivery and whenever needed.
  • Ensure comfort and support to mothers and infants while executing midwifery functions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing/university or bachelor's degree with additional Midwifery Experience.
  • Valid and active nursing license
  • Certifications in midwifery training or equivalent are a plus
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Must be able to relocate to Libya for a minimum of 12 months period
