- Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio management strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market trends.
- Monitor and assess the performance of each property and centre, identifying opportunities for growth, improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish portfolio goals, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Oversee all aspects of property and centre operations, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Implement industry best practices to optimize property and centre performance, including maintenance, leasing, tenant services, and facility management.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for each property and center, tracking revenue streams, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization.
- Implement strategies to maximize profitability and asset value, such as lease negotiations, rent increases, and expense management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with leasing teams to attract and secure quality tenants for the portfolio.
- Engage with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and community members, to maintain positive relationships and promote the company's brand and reputation.
- Evaluate potential property acquisitions, conducting due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
- Oversee property disposition activities, including valuations, negotiations, and coordinating with legal and brokerage teams.
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in property and portfolio management,
- Strong knowledge of real estate markets, trends, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA), are a plus.
