With a team of experienced professionals and a commitment to quality, GameChange Solar is making a difference in the fight against climate change and helping to create a brighter, greener future for all.POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for driving accounting payables and accounting receivables in SA subsidiary.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the general accounting functions on account payables and account receivables.Manage and monitor vendor open bills and advances on Netsuite (Oracle ERP).Ensure along with internal other teams to get payables ready on Netsuite.Ensure Netsuite keep always updated on AR/AP perspective.Monitor billing done by outsourced accounting firm, review and ensure customer receives it.Monitor invoice and documentation package get ready and ensure customer properly receives it.Keep internal teams posted about the payables and receivables status or issues.Review VAT preparation and report along with outsourced accounting firm.Suport in other financial demands when needed.Reporting – Finance DirectorFUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:Ability to work on ERPProficiency in MS Office and popular accounting softwareData Analytics skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and solve complex problemsAbility to handle confidential / sensitive informationAbility to work with different departments to achieve the goals.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferredAt least 3+ years of accounting payables/receivablesWorking knowledge of basic accounting principles and practicesWorking knowledge of relevant state, central and local regulationsKEY RELATIONSHIPS:Internal: F&A Team, Commodity management team, Revenue Officer, Engineering, Supply chain, Planning, Sales, Buyers, Logistics and commercial teams, etc.WORK LOCATION:Cape Town Office based.
